Coconut oil (Cocos nucifera)
-
Keep coconut
oil in the fridge. At this temperature it is a creamy white solid.
-
For blending
just scrape out the quantity you need. The bender will happily mix it
in.
-
It will melt
into a clear colourless oil at just over room temperature. For making
chocolates you will need to get it into this state.
