is a convenient blend of spices to make curry marinades and sauces.

It is
available in various degrees of hotness according to the blend. Typically
these are -
- mild curry powder
- medium curry powder
- hot curry powder

A typical
mix contains the following -
allspice
black pepper
cayenne pepper
coriander seed
cumin
fenugreek (methi)
garlic powder
ginger
mustard seed
salt
tumeric

You might
want to add extra quantities of some of the ingredients when making a
recipe, for example pepper and salt, but just be aware that there may
already be pepper and salt in the mix.
