Before you start Note that in this recipe you will need to soak dried pitted dates in water overnight.

Date paste Date paste is used as a sweetener ingredient in other recipes. Method Remove any stones from the dates. Press them into the bottom of a glass jug and add just enough water to cover them. Soak at room temperature overnight. The following day Simply mash the dates with a fork until the desired texture is obtained. Serve Date paste will keep in the fridge for a few days. Use as an ingredient for other recipes. Afterwards Recycle the waste |
